Starting This Blog…
On December 12, 2024, I discovered my NIW case had been approved. Seeing “case approved” past midnight brought an overwhelming mix of joy and disbelief.
I shared my story in a Reddit community, and within a day, 74 people viewed the post, and 44 left comments. Responding to each one, I realized how many—especially STEM educators—were searching for reliable NIW guidance and resources.
My case was fully self-petitioned. I navigated every step alone, including the challenging RFE (Request for Evidence) process. Along the way, I learned a powerful truth: no one can describe your work and contributions with the same passion and detail as you.
This realization inspired me to create this site as a resource for future NIW applicants, particularly those who, like me, choose to self-petition.
I hope this site becomes a source of guidance, encouragement, and a reminder that success is achievable—one thoughtful step at a time.
